Oral squamous cell carcinoma is the most common head and neck malignancy having a propensity for the locoregional spread. Vascular invasion is very rare when compared to lymphatic spread. Most frequent sites of distant metastasis are lung, bone, liver, adrenals, heart, and kidney.
